Kindergarten is a Blast!

Dunk Day!

Red Bug's Annual Dunk for Downs!

Don't forget about the Step Up Walk (formerly Buddy Walk) at Lake Eola on October 15th. It's a fun-filled family event! We hope to see you there!

Lightning Bugs!

These are our wonderful lightning bugs! We choose a new bug each week based on who has the most RBT's. All of our students have been working so hard at being Safe, Respectful and Responsible and they have been earning lots of tickets by being noticed all around campus!

5 Senses

Learning about 5 Senses was so much fun!

We used magnifying glasses to see things close up.

We learned all about our eyes! Ask me about my pupil and iris and how the pupil changes in the light and in the dark to help me see!

We used rice on a piece of seran wrap covering a glass bowl to learn about sound vibrations and watched the rice dance.

We used our sense of smell and sight to try to figure out which piece of fruit was a pear and which piece was an apple. Finally, we had to use our sense of taste to actually solve the mystery!

Also, we went exploring outside and around the school to use our senses and look for certain items.

Check out our graph of our eye colors!

Tie Dyed Milk

After completing our "Science Safety Contracts" in our Science Notebooks we conducted a fun experiment to practice what we learned.

To make Tie Dyed milk you put drops of food coloring in whole milk and then dip a q-tip coated with dish soap in the middle! Ta da!
